Right Goal

You need to be very clear and specific about your goal. This is not just planning superficially about a career and jumping into the race for it. Most of the civil services aspirants come in the grade of being superficial about their goal. If you want a positive outcome from your goal setting you need to be specific as to with what do you want and when. You should write this goal in bold letters at the start of your note book or anywhere convenient for your frequent reading. You should read this goal note at least twice – once in morning before you start your studies and next time at night before you sleep. Every time you read your goal statement you must do it religiously with a peace of mind and run it through your mind and internalize it in your subconscious mind through repetitive thinking about the social recognition and opportunities of realization of your potential attached with it. After you have decided your goal follow it as the travelers can follow North Pole star to be sure about their direction.
You should stop settling for anything less than what you want because it does not take any more energy to create a big dream than it does to create a little one. The real thrill comes with the task, which is considered difficult. If you want to be happy set  a goal that commands your thoughts, liberates your energy and inspires your hopes. Michelangelo says, “The greater danger of most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but it is too low and we reach it.”
You should guard yourself against your dream stealers. They may come as your friends and well wishers also and discourage you against your goal by projecting it as impossible and they may also divert you towards something they consider good for your safe future. Let us remember that everyone speaks his experience and his mind.

You should share your definite goal with the people with whom you are emotionally attached. Their good thoughts and prayers will give you spiritual strength for your goal. You should not hesitate in sharing this with a few of your rivals and those who hold poor opinion about you because their challenges will also keep fueling the flame of your dream goal.
Brain is a goal seeking organism. Once we have made our goal definite it will work day and night to achieve it. In such situation the word impossible disappears and we start enjoying our every move towards our goal.
Napolean Hill says, “Whatever your mind can conceive, it can achieve.”

AK Mishra's Art of Success

Success is an art which can be learnt by understanding some fundamental rules and can be developed into habit with sincere and regular practice of those rules. In fact, golden rules of success are the same for any walk of life. Only they need to be customized according to specific needs of a goal. Further, success is not one time achievement but a continuous process for higher and higher goals. It is a never ending journey, which gives meaning and purpose to life. There are two fold principles of AK Mishra's Art of Success:
1.    True knowledge and understanding of the traits of success.
2.    Internalization of these traits so as to make them an integral part of your nature and personality.

Whereas, it is easy to know and discuss about the traits of success, it is a real challenge to integrate them in your personality.
Success traits include qualities like positive thinking, belief in self, courage, dedication towards goal, skilled time management, energy management etc. These are well known to every conscious human being. Everyone desires to maintain these qualities. But when it comes to reality, it becomes difficult to practice them. This is because there is vast difference between desire and will.
The list of factors of success can be quite long if they are placed in different heads and sub heads. However,  in order to simplify them I prefer to place them under four spokes of the wheel of success. These are Mind, Time, Energy and Human Relationship. Sharpening the skill of managing these four priceless gifts of God to human beings can take you to any height of life.
Success begins with recognition of your true self. Everyone is a unique creation of God with immense potentiality to grow and achieve success, peace and happiness in life. An understanding and realization of your true potentiality and uniqueness is a wonderful experience. Max Lucado says, “You weren't an accident. You weren't mass produced. You aren't an assembly line product. You were deliberately planned, specifically gifted and lovingly positioned on the earth by the master Craftsman.”

Everyone of us has a purpose of coming in this world and everyone has some uniqueness in him to achieve his goal.
I shall deal with the Art of Success through series of articles. In this particular article I am taking up some of the important points related to mind management.
Human brain is limitless in terms of its capacity for memory and thinking. No computer of the world can match a healthy brain. Even the great scientist Einstein would not claim utilization of more than 15% of the capacity of his brain. It comprises about 100 billion cells called as neurons and has capacity to store about 300 trillion words. Thus there is nothing for any healthy human being to complain regarding lack of memory power. Problem is not in the capacity of brain but in not knowing how to utilize our unlimited brain power. There is nothing beyond our mind in this world. In fact, this world has a meaning for us all because of our mind only.
Whatever we get or lose is all because of our mind. Right from our childhood, we are trained how to eat, dress up, live, talk, work, enjoy but not how to use our brain and run our mind which runs everything for us. Let us imagine, what will be the meaning of anything in our possession or around us in this world without our brain. Of course, nothing exists for us beyond our mind. Thus, all our achievements are directly related to the skill of running our mind.
The Art of Success is, in fact, an art of running our mind efficiently. Here, it is important to understand that there is vast difference between literacy and education. A person can be thoroughly educated without being literate. Akbar, the Great, is one of the best examples of this. Many of the saints and religious Gurus were illiterate but were highly knowledgeable. On the other hand, in our country or anywhere in the world, there is a very large number of literates and highly qualified people but those who can claim to be really educated to live life purposefully and give meaning to this world are always in very small percentage. A true education has a direct relation with realization within self. Academic education can make us literate and enrich us with information and knowledge but their utilization and meaningfulness depend on our power of true education which, in other words, is self realization on anything. God has already powered up our brain, we just have to discover how to use it for maximum gain. A true teacher is one who does not spoil the originality of his student’s brain but helps him in realizing within himself.

I strongly believe in the Philosophy of Buddha in this regard. He says, “Believe nothing. No matter where you read it, or who said it, even I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.”
Therefore, my Art of Success is aimed at reminding you of the qualities which are already lying deep inside your mind. You have just to realize them and set them in motion for your greater achievements.
Here, it is pertinent to understand that we cannot recognize, understand and interpret a thing in right perspective if it or related to it, information is in our memory. In other words, there is a need of right kind of human software for getting a desired result from our mind. As a computer cannot give a result for the thing for which it has no software, so happens with our brain. In order to succeed in any walk of life, you need to have the right kind of software. In the case of succeeding any fields, you need to have human software and traits require to achieve success in that particular field. You may be having most of them, but you need to fine tune them according to the requirement of your role expected in the particular field.
Till now, your human software is academic and all that has come to your personality unregulated and uncontrolled as programming right from your childhood from your parents, family, school, college and other educational institutions, friends, relatives, teachers, media, kind of readings done etc.

Therefore, you need to look inside yourself and reprogramme your brain with the traits of personality which are needed to achieve your desired goal. We do not get what we want, but what we are. Therefore, be first in your inner world what you want to be in the outer world as our outer world is just the reflection of our inner world.

Attitude is the way of success

Positive thinking is a mental and emotional attitude that focuses on the bright side of life and expects positive results. Generally people don’t take responsibility for their failure and make endless excuses for that. They are unable to understand the fact their attitude is the main problem.  Attitude makes our life and guides our success and failure. Successful people don’t believe in excuses and never make culprits to other for their problems. Our thinking is a fundamental source for all success, materialistic gins, all great discoveries, inventions and all achievements. Our thoughts are decider of our character, our career and in fact our daily life. Thoughts are directional force for the way behind our all works. Our works inadvertently take us towards success or failure. It is truly said that thoughts can make or break the person. Great thinkers believe that this universe is created by great universal brain. This universal brain is mega highway of information, which connects all human brains with each other. Bombarding of different thoughts on us is continuous. Some of these thoughts can match with our inner voice and can give a great insight. The art of success is basically our brain’s art of functioning skillfully.

The Secrets to Superior Achievement

Each of us has the potential to achieve far more than we have yet imagined. We know that human beings use only a tiny percentage of our brain's potential. We waste time, we get distracted, we "spin our wheels", and we get frustrated. Yes, we do accomplish things, but only a small portion of what we are capable of achieving.

At the same time, we feel, other people are reaching huge goals and achieving vastly more than us. How? They are also human beings as we are, we all have equal raw material—2 hands, 2 legs, 2 eyes, 2 ears, brain. And even those, who do not have this enough raw material, are doing wonders in life. So, the obvious fact is that we can also do. Everyone can do wonders, and the biggest fact is we are born to do wonders. We are born to do extraordinary, because we have extraordinary skills, we have that unique power. But the question is, how should we use it to get maximum achievements out of our life?

What are the secrets to that level of achievement?

Let’s discover

1. Self-Discipline:- Self-discipline is the key to ultimate freedom! It means
taking charge of life, being an adult and deciding how
you want to live your life. It means you are not dependent
on circumstances or convenience or other people's opinions.
It is choosing your own course, taking responsibility and
going in the direction YOU have chosen. It means doing what
makes sense in the long run, rather than what is popular or
comfortable or easy. Self-discipline is the first essential
for massive, extraordinary levels of personal success.

2. Effective Resource Allocation: - High achievers don't
waste time or squander relationships, or "wish their lives
away." They use their talents and abilities wisely. They
focus their efforts on their most important next steps.

We have limited resources. There are only 24 hours in a
day, and we have limited stamina and strength. High
achievers concentrate and put their best efforts in their most
important projects. They are very careful about time,
knowing that when today is over, it's gone forever. They
make careful choices about money, knowing that once spent,
it's gone forever, but invested wisely, it can create
literally millions of dollars over time. High achievers use
resources wisely.

3. Environmental Perfection. We respond to our
surroundings and high achievers create environments that
support them perfectly, all day long, every single day.
They care about their offices, and they take care of their
bodies. They dress well and keep their tools sharp and
well-maintained.

There is a reason extraordinarily successful people have
elegant offices, and live orderly, structured, simple
lives. These are the habits that MADE THEM SUCCESSFUL!

4. Hard Work. Extremely successful people work harder
than the rest of us. Yes, sometimes they simply work more
hours and stay more focused, but sometimes it's the subtle
things. They pay attention and actually listen to the
people they meet. They network effectively. They read and
use what they learn to achieve better outcomes. They get
more done!

Extraordinary achievement is the result of
these four simple steps.

How to enhance fit life for working mother

We all know it’s not easy being a working mother who juggles a full time job with a family life. While taking care of the health of kids, family members, a woman actually forgets to devote sometime in a day for her fitness. Working moms are busy people who unceasingly have to balance work with personal and at-home considerations, which can create a lot of stress throughout all aspects of life. If they don’t find a channel to release out this stress, then it becomes more strenuous to handle the common stresses of motherhood for too long. Mothers need to feel good about themselves, and feel a sense of personal accomplishment to live a healthy and fit lifestyle that leads to stress-free living which in-turns let them offer good quality time to spend with their kids and family too.
It may seem like multi-tasking and juggling everything is allowing you to manage it all right now but you're paying a high price for the constant on-the-go mentality by ignoring your need for rest and recreation. Continuously reminding yourself about your health and wellness and giving yourself the priority is a key element to ensure that you remain in good mental and physical health and that your relationships with others are not compromised by your exhaustion and annoyance.
From working a full-time job to running to kids schools for PTAs or functions, and managing a household, working mother hardly finds a spare moment in their busy daily schedules for their own selves. Even with hectic home and work situations, working moms still need to find time to live a healthy lifestyle which not only benefits themselves, but their families as well.
By implementing the following tips and mental shifts, work out can soon become a permanent appointment in your busy schedule.

Make Yourself a Priority;
Mothers should put themselves at the bottom of the priority list, especially when kids are young.  If you aren’t getting enough sleep, it takes away all of your energy to just make it through the day. Moms also can be hard on themselves emotionally and feel guilty about doing something for themselves in the limited time which they should devote to their kids and family.  To be healthy, moms have to bust through these mental roadblocks and attitudes by making their health and fitness a priority, a commitment and a life-long dedication.
“It’s OK to take care of yourself because only a healthy mother can take care of the heath of her kids and family and can devote them good quality time to spend. The first step is to believe in the power and impact of a healthy and fit lifestyle, not only physically, but mentally, throughout all aspects of your life. It’s time to make the mental shift to putting your health in your priority list.

“As a working mom, you’re expected to take care of the family and perform well at work as well.  But how are you going to do that if you’re overweight, unhealthy, uncomfortable and unhappy?”
“One of the main reasons every working mother should keep up their workout routine is because workout helps to get better mentally, helps to feel good and as a result women can spent quality time with their family and kids and treat them better when they get home and have an overall more positive outlook on life.”
Whether it’s first thing in the morning before the kids are awake, during your lunch break or in the evening, you only have to set aside 30-60 minutes during the day to focus on your health and fitness. Adjust your schedule, make it fit, but just do what it takes to make your workout a constant in your life.

Take Time to Eat Healthy
A common habit that mothers form without even realizing it is eating their kids’ foods and finishing up a child’s plate in fear of wasting food. What may seem like an innocent, time-saving gesture, though, is in reality a huge calorie counter.
Eating your kids’ leftovers are wasted calories that can add up quicker than you realize. Instead of grabbing a leftover spoonful of your child’s Maggie and cheese for lunch, make sure to take the time to eat well-rounded, nutritious meals that include healthy portions of protein, fruits and vegetables to sustain the energy needed for an always-on-the-go working mother. It helps to plan your weekly meals ahead of time on the weekends so you won’t have to worry about what you’re eating during the busy work week.

Stay Accountable, Stay Active

Success Guru AK Mishra suggests that working and busy mothers can consider the help of personal trainer or coach. Personal trainers are not only great fitness buddies, but they also can be an excellent resource for helping you get started and maintain a healthy and fit lifestyle.
By using a trainer, you have someone who knows what you should eat, what workouts you should do to get the best results and even you can get good advice to provide healthy lifestyle to your kids as well.

Be active with your child. Take them to the swimming pool or play in the garden or park can also be a good form of living a healthy lifestyle.
